What's new about the Hub? |
The strength of the Hub is the quality of its individual partners. We don’t want to make every 14-19 organisation the same – far from it. But we do think there are extra things we can do by working together: - offer more work-related courses by building on the specialist expertise in the schools and college
- open the courses with specialist teachers and facilities to all learners
- put on more local courses to match local needs
- make sure every course is a step on a ladder to success
- work with employers and universities to prepare young people to move up
- provide the information and support needed to make good use of better choice
- encourage young people from different neighbourhoods to get together and try new things
- listen to young people inside and outside learning to make sure we get it right
- share the best of what we have and what we do to make learning successful
What's the HubThe Hub is a partnership of all the organisations that offer 14 – 19 learning in Tower Hamlets. It includes secondary schools, Tower Hamlets College, training providers, the universities and support services. The partnership will make sure that every young person can: - Choose from a wide range of good and interesting courses
- Find a local course that matches your interests and needs
- See how their course can lead onto further study and a career
- Follow a personal route to success
